Biaohua, a unique ethnic language mainly spoken by the natives living in the border areas between Guangdong and Guangxi,is known as language living fossil.As an endangered language, Biaohua is considered to be a precious non-material cultural heritage.The article suggests that the key for preserving and protecting Biaohua is to improve the public awareness of language crisis.Biaohua can be preserved by constructing language cultural museum and language culture research center in Biaohua speaking areas.
