Adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) are a kind of adult stem cells in the adipose tissue. They have many advantages, such as being easy to acquire, allowing repetitive sampling with little pain, safe autotransplantation or allotransplantation, and propagating easily, which have made them an ideal cell source for tissue engineering. For the muhi-lineage differentiation potential and paracrine function, they have become another hot topic after embryonic stem cells and bone marrow stem cells in the field of cell therapy. It has been found that ADSCs have antioxidant, anti-wrinkle and anti-melanogenie activity, and they themselves together with their soluble factors can promote wound healing and fibroblast proliferation. Therefore, ADSCs have the potential to treat skin aging.
