Based on the levy and use of cultivated land reclamation fees in neighboring provinces and some cities and counties, the nine typi-cal projects areas including development, reclamation, consolidation of land were selected in the southern, central, northern of Jiangsu which the comprehensive investment standard of cultivated land per unit area was measured synthetically.Taking proportion of cultivated land fee, the price increase in the future and changes of the project type structure into consideration, the cultivated land fee was finally set at 50 yuan/m^2 , 40 yuan/m^2 , 30 yuan/m^2 in the southern, central, northern of Jiangsu.The main reason for the inconsistency of the standard ar-ea was the difference between the various types of project structure and the difficulty of the same type of project in each region.
