葡萄土壤杆菌E26是一株效果良好的葡萄根癌病生物防治菌株。本研究结合利用Tn5转座子插入突变与生物化学检测手段对E26菌株中的可按合转移的遗传因子进行了检测和功能初步分析。结果显示:野生菌株E26中携带有能够接合转移到其近缘细菌菌株Agrobacterium tumefaciens NTIA的遗传因子,该遗传因子可能是一个功能未知的质粒,该质粒含有可以分解5-溴-4-氯-3-吲哚β半乳糖苷(X-gal)的基因。
Agrobacterium vitis strain E26 suppresses Agrobacterium-induced crown gall on grapevine. In this study, Tn5 transposon mutation and biochemical detection methods were used to characterize the conjugation factor in the strain E26. The results showed that the wild type E26 contained a conjugal factor that could be a function-un- known plasmid, and be imported into Agrobacterium tumefaciens NTL4, a close relative to the strain E26, by con- jugation with lower frequency. This plasmid contains a lacZ-like gene that encodes a protein that could metabolize the substrate X-gal.
