2006 Maritime Labour Convention will imminently enter into force. Based on the comprehensive understanding on the status of the approaches to crew complaint and right safeguard,the effect of each approach employed by crew is analyzed,the difficulties met by crew are identified,the reasons are studied,and the corresponding proposals are put forward in order to get a better domestic legislation translation of 2006 Maritime Labour Convention based on China＇s national conditions. It helps shipowners to get an equal competitive environment fundamentally and the crew to get a decent job,and solve the practical difficulties encountered by crew.
