Bedded cherts collected from northern Thailand, including Chiang Dao,Lamphun and Den Chai contain Middle Triassic radiolarian faunas.The faunas from Chiang Dao can be divided into two assemblages.The first assemblage includes Eptingium and other co-occurring species such as Cryptostephanidium
