在野外调查和标本鉴定基础上，报道了江苏省苏州市区苔藓植物33科，71属，154种，其中苔类8科，10属，13种；藓类25科，61属，141种．区系分析表明：该地区苔藓植物东亚成分、北温带成分和热带成分分别占36．59％，34．15％和12．20％，具有明显的东亚特色和一定的温带成分，与相邻的上海市、无锡市苔藓植物组成比较，三市的属种相似性系数较高，区系成分的R／T值分析显示了相似的温带性质。
英文摘要：
Based on the field investigation and specimens identification, 154 species in 71 genera and 33 families of bryophytes in urban area of Suzhou are reported in the present paper. Of these, 13 species, belonging to 10 genera and 8 families are liverworts. 141 species, belonging to 61 genera and 25 families are mosses. Floristic analysis show that East Asian, North Temperate and Tropical elements account for 36.59% , 34.15% and 12.20% respectively. It has a distinct East Asian characteristic and temperate character to some degree. Compared the genus and species composition with Shanghai and Wuxi, the percent of similarity is high. R/T value of bryofloras in the three cities reflects similar temperate characteristic.
