云南省分布的杜鹃花属常绿杜鹃亚属植物,具有较高的观赏价值。本文研究了 4种常绿杜鹃亚属种子萌发特性,通过解剖镜和显微镜观察种子形态大小,用电子天平进行种子千粒重的测定,并统计了在不同光照条件和不同基质下4种杜鹃花的萌发率。结果表明:4种杜鹃花种子细小扁平,为椭圆形或长椭圆形,红褐色,种子表面具有明显纵条纹;千粒重比较:大白花杜鹃 >露珠杜鹃 >迷人杜鹃 >马缨花杜鹃;种子萌发具有需光性,所测试种子在全光照条件和半光照条件下萌发率都很高,全黑暗下萌发率低甚至不萌发。播种基质影响种子萌发率,4种杜鹃花种子在腐叶土上的萌发率均高于混合土 (山土 +腐叶土)与山土,山土基质上不萌发。
The Subgen. Hymenanthes (Blume) K. Koch of Rhododendron plants has great ornamental value in Yunnan, China. Seed morphological characters and 1 000 -grain weight of four species were ob- served and measured by using Olympus anatomical lens, microscope and electronic balance. The germi- nation rates of four Rhododendron species were counted under different lighting conditions and media. The results showed that seeds morphology of the four species of Subgen. Hymenanthes (Blume) K. Koch are all small and flat, the shape of seeds are oval or long oval, both side of seed with developed wings, the surface has obvious vertical stripes. Comparison of the 1 000 -grain weight among the four species: it is Rhododendron decorum 〉 R. irroratum 〉 R. agastum 〉 R. delavayi. The seeds of all the species had higher germination rate exposed to full light and half-light than those under deep shade. It is indica- ted that the seed germination of the four species requires light. The seeds of all the species had higher germination rate in humus soil than those in mixed soil (humus + mountain soil) even mountain soil.
