针对传统行波保护可靠性低这一缺点,提出一种基于初始行波极性比较原理的广域行波保护方案。根据电网的连接方式和行波保护继电器(TWPR)位置,形成线路/TWPR关联矩阵。系统发生故障后,根据TWPR记录的初始行波极性信息和线路/TWPR关联矩阵形成故障关联矩阵,并据此确定具体的故障线路。广域行波保护系统基于多点信息作出决策,在某一行波保护继电器故障、启动失灵或记录错误后仍能可靠动作。仿真分析表明,文中提出的广域行波保护算法原理清晰、实现简单,具有良好的工程应用前景。
To improve the reliability of conventional protection using traveling waves,a wide area protection method based on polarity comparison of the first traveling wave is proposed.According to the transmission lines configuration and traveling wave protection relays(TWPRs) positions in a power grid,the line/TWPR associated matrices can be obtained.When a fault occurs in the power grid,fault associated matrices can be formed based on the first traveling wave polarity recorded by TWPRs and line/TWPR associated matrices,and then the fault line can be identified by the wide area traveling wave protective system based on the above information.It is worth noting that such protection can also be achieved even if certain TWPR breaks down, failure in start,or null traveling wave is recorded.Analysis and simulation results show that the proposed wide area traveling wave protection algorithm is simple and feasible.
