英文摘要：

Pseudo almost periodic functions （PAP for short） were defined almost 20 years ago in my Ph.D thesis, 1992. Most people know PAP from my two papers of 1994. Since then, PAP attracts more and more people of both Chinese and foreigners and now becomes an active research area. In this paper, we will introduce how PAP to be defined and survey its development.
