为了研究金银花提取物对夏季高温条件下饲养的肉牛抗氧化指标和骨骼肌纤维形态结构的影响。试验选择10头健康的锦江黄牛未去势公牛[(360±20)kg],随机分成对照组和金银花组,每组5头。试验牛均饲喂于夏季高温高湿条件下,金银花组在肉牛精料中添加0.2%的金银花提取物,试验为期60 d。结果显示:1)夏季高温环境下,牛舍平均温湿指数高于79,肉牛处于热应激状态。2)与对照组比较,金银花组的试验牛平均日增重无显著变化(P〉0.05)。3)与对照组比较,金银花组血清谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GSH-Px)活性和总抗氧化能力(T-AOC)显著升高(P〈0.05),丙二醛(MDA)含量显著下降(P〈0.05),肌酸激酶(CK)活性降低了105.09%(P〈0.05),总超氧化物歧化酶(T-SOD)和乳酸脱氢酶(LDH)的活性无显著变化(P〉0.05)。4)金银花组骨骼肌中T-AOC比对照组增强了59.74%(P〈0.05),骨骼肌肌节长度增加了13.16%(P〈0.05);对照组骨骼肌肌纤维结构受损,出现肿胀变形,但金银花组肉牛骨骼肌肌纤维未出现肿胀。以上结果表明,夏季高温高湿环境可诱发肉牛热应激反应,添加0.2%金银花提取物可改善肉牛抗氧化功能,促进热应激肉牛骨骼肌纤维结构损伤的修复。
This study was conducted to investigate the effects of Honeysuckle extract on antioxidant function and skeletal muscle morphology of beef cattle under hot environment. Ten healthy Jinjiang yellowcattle with[( 360±20) kg]were randomly divided into 2 groups with 5 heads per each group. Animals were fed under environment of high temperature and humidity in summer. Honeysuckle extract( 0.2%) was added in concentrate for cattle in Honeysuckle group. The test lasted for 60 days. The results showed as follows: 1) high temperature and humidity environment in summer caused heat stress of beef cattle,the average temperature humidity index( THI) was above 79. 2) No difference was noticed about average daily gain of beef cattle between two groups( P〉 0.05). 3) Compared with control group,serum glutathione peroxidase( GSH-Px) activity and total antioxidant capacity( T-AOC) in Honeysuckle group were significantly increased( P〈 0.05),malondialdehyde( MDA) content was significantly decreased( P〈 0.05),creatine kinase( CK) activity was decreased by 105.09%( P〈 0.05),and the activities of total superoxide dismutase( T-SOD) and lactate dehydrogenase( LDH) were not affected( P〉 0.05). 4) Compared with control group,T-AOC of skeletal muscle in Honeysuckle group was increased by 59. 74%( P〈 0. 05),and sarcomere length was increased by 13. 16%( P〈 0.05); skeletal muscle morphosis in control group was damaged,and appeared swelling and disfiguration,while the damage was restored in Honeysuckle group. These results indicate that high temperature and humidity environment induced heat stress reaction of beef cattle,however,dietary supplementation of Honeysuckle extract improved the antioxidant and restored the morphosis of damaged muscle.
