Using the expression of the far - field of coherent combined beams deduced by Fourier method, we discussed the far - field of coherent combined beams from one - dimensional diode laser array. 33ae far- field intensity, distribution of in - phase mode is calculated for the beam numbers of 5.9and 19, respectively. Taking linear array of M = 19 as an example, we discussed the far - field characteristics of DLA existing ＂smile＂, it is founded that the＂smile＂ has no serious influence on the far- field intensity distribution of coherent combined beams.
