通过对Al2O3基陶瓷刀具车削NbC颗粒增强铁基粉末冶金复合材料的试验研究,分析了刀具的磨损机理。结果表明,陶瓷刀具不会发生严重的磨粒磨损,刀具的高脆性及复合材料中增强相的剧烈刮擦、冲撞引起的切削刃微崩和剥落磨损是刀具磨损的主要原因。增强相含量较低时,刀具同时发生粘着磨损;增强相含量越高,粘着磨损程度越轻微。
The mechanism of tool wear for turning NbCp-reinforced iron-base powder metallurgical composites with Al2O3- based ceramic tool is researched by turning experiments. The results show that no severe abrasive wear is found in cutting edge, the main modes of wear are micro-fracture and chipping of cutting edge caused by its high brittleness and the heavy scrape of reinforcements in composites. Adhesive wear is also found while smaller amount of reinforcements in the composites, The more the mass fraction of reinforcements is, the slighter the adhesive wear occurs on ceramic tool.
