In order to produce uniform density and cracktess multi--level powder metallurgical parts,a powder pressing equipment was designed and manufactured, which can form multi--level complex gree＇n compacts and the control system for the pressing equipment was also designed based on powder pressing technics. This paper presented a multi--platen adapter driven by integrated hydrocylinder. Each punch of the adapter press the powder was individually controlled by the control system to form multi--level metallurgical parts. Each punch of the multi--platen adapter can be controlled individually to compact multi--level complex green, and it can improve uniformity of green density and avoid the cracks of green parts.
