Objective ： To research the effect of the abilities of learning and memory of the rapid aging dementia SAMP8 mice by acupuncture method of Yiqitiaoxue Fubenpeiyuan. Methods ： SAMP8 mice were divided into SAMP8 control group, acupuncture group and non - acupoint group, and SAMR1 control group. The acupuncture group used Yiqitiaoxue Fubenpeiyuan acupunture method, Danzhong,Zhongwan, Qihai, and bilateral Xuehai and Zusanli;non - acupoint group took bilateral ribs two fixed non - acupoints. The changes of spatial reference memory capacity of mice in each group were observed by Morris water maze. The effect of acupuncture on cognitive function in SAMP8 mice was evaluated. Results ： Yiqitiaoxue Fubenpeiyuan acupuncture method can effectively improve the cognitive ability of SAMP8 mice.
