The competition among firms has been turned from the competition of ＂firm to firm＂ to the competition of ＂firm network to firm network＂. The social capital that incrementally accumulated through the longterm on-going interaction between firm and its networking partners significantly reduces the coordination/in- teraction costs between firm and its interlocked networking partners, not only leads to the specialized knowledge division based on the division of labour to extend both from the breadth and depth, but also eventually tend to improve the abilities of the individuals to innovate more crcatively. Technology roadmapping is e- merged as a new tool of technology planning and management, which has improved the innovation knowledge flow and thus makes the risk and cost of innovation be lower on the interactive learning platform among the firms.
