Based on the experiment results of water requirement of eggplant through three methods, namely Time Domain Reflectometry （TDR） method, E601 pan measuring method and Quality measuring method, the precision and error of the latter two methods was discussed in this paper. Taking the measuring result of Time Domain Reflectometry （TDR） method as standard, the measure- ment errors of the E601 pan measuring method and Quality measuring method come out at 0. 98 and 0.28, respectively. According to the test data analysis, the water requirement model for greenhouse eggplant is built, which has some useful reference for greenhouse eggplant irrigation management and irrigation system design.
