Vertical-flow and horizontal-flow constructed wetlands were used to treat urban sewage. Comparisons were made among some of removal efficiency of major pollutants （such as COD,TN and TP）under different HRT and temperature conditions in the two systems. The influence of construction on removal efficiency was analyzed, which is valuable for reference in the advance of constructed wetlands on different constructions.
