Combined with the engineering example of island coal mining face of mine,the support resistance monitoring method,the abutment pressure of the working face of the affected area, the roadway deformation of overlying strata movement and deformation analysis. The results show that： abutment pressure on working face for dynamic stress, concentration range of 6-15 m; the roadway deformation is smaller, the rock has the characteristics of layered caving, the basic roof pressure cycle is not obvious.
