Mahuang Jia Zhu Decoction is a representatinve prescription of ZHANG Zhongjing who uses slight sweating method to treat rheumatic arthralgia. This paper has discussed the reason of using slight sweating method and Mahuang Jia Zhu Decoction＇s mechanism of action by interpretating related words on Synopsis of Golden Chamber and herbs in the prescription.
