The application of separation and analysis techniques for antisense oligonucleotides, including the polyacrylamide gel eleetrophoresis, HPLC, CE, HPLC-MS and CE-MS, was reviewed. At the same time some examples of application are given and the advantages and limitations of those techniques are also discussed to provide the basis for the separation and analysis techniques for those drugs during research and development.
