为了解决机场跑道上的异物对飞机安全造成的极大威胁,在研究了国外现有的跑道异物检测技术的基础上,提出了易于实现的组合式毫米波探测系统及机场布局方法,分析了地杂波对跑道异物检测的影响,采用高距离与方位分辨探测技术实现对地面杂波的抑制,提出了超宽带毫米波线性调频探测单元的构成方法并对高分辨测距的基本原理和实现算法进行了理论分析。针对探测单元以及环境杂波的分布模型进行了仿真研究,仿真结果表明组合式毫米波探测系统对小目标具有较好的分辨能力。
Foreign objects debris (FOD) on airport runways would potentially pose a great threat to aviation safety. On the basis of the research on the current FOD detection technologies in the world, a combined millimeter-wave radar detection system which is easy to achieve is presented and the composition of the system and its layout in the airport are described. The impact of ground clutter on the detection of FOD is analyzed and high resolution detection technology of range and azimuth are adopted to suppress the ground clutter, the configuration of Ultra Wide Band (UWB) linear frequency modulation (LFM) detection unit is presented and the basic principles of and algorithms for high resolution ranging is analyzed theoretically. A simulation research on detection unit and the environmental clutter distribution model is made and the simulation results show that the combined millimeter-wave system has the capability of high resolution for small objects.
