The detection and recognition of man-made object is an important topic in remote sensing image, which discusses the multi-layer feature models with man-made as its object in remote sensing. Based on the remote sensing properties of man-made object multi-layer features, the methods of extraction of key features of object are studied, and the multi-layer features of remote sensing image of airport is proposed for the detection and recognition of airport object. And based on the multi-layer features, the system frame work for detection and recognition of airport object from remote sensing image are presented.
