索穹顶结构是美国工程师Geiger根据Fuller的张拉整体结构思想开发的一种新型预张力结构。目前,国内外对索穹顶结构的初始预应力分布、结构静动力性能等进行了比较全面的研究,但是一般以索单元的松弛和破断作为结构失效的标准,有关该类结构的破坏形式以及部分索松弛或破断后的受力性能研究却很少涉及。以Geiger及Levy体系索穹顶结构为例,探讨了索穹顶结构可能存在的破坏形式,分析了部分索退出工作后的结构受力性能,并对两种体系的受力情况作了比较。得出的结论对该类结构的进一步研究和工程应用具有指导意义。
The cable dome proposed by Geiger based on Fuller's idea of tensegrity is a new type of space structures. Studies on the initial prestress distribution and mechanical behavior of domes subject to static and dynamic loads have been carded out. However the structural behavior of the dome aRer one or some cables become slack or ruptured is little involved. Taking Geiger domes and Levy domes as examples, the failure mode of these two types of domes subject to different load cases are investigated and their behavior are compared. Some conclusions are finally drawn which will guide the further research and application of cable domes.
