Accumulative roll bonding for TA1/Q235 in the conditions of different deformations and temperatures was researched by using of Gleeble- 1500 thermal analog testing machine. The micro hardness and inter metallic compound formed in accumulative roll bonding were analyzed by means of SEM, X-ray and micro hardness-testing device. The results show that inter metallic compound forms in the interface between two base materials consists of TiC and Ti2Fe. When the deformation temperature is higher than 950 ℃, or the accumulated deformation is more than 150%, the micro-hardness in the interface decreases obviously. Super large deformation can increase bond strength of Ti/carbon steel because of crushing, deformation and dispersing of inter metallic compound.
