英文摘要：
Based on the analysis over the limits in traditional rural planning and construction, this pa- per argues that the construction of socialist new vil- lage at this stage has got rid of the traditional top- down model. It states that the village planning should be a bottom-up process which focuses on the farm- ers＇ wills and farmer＇s participation. The urban plan- ners should facilitate this process. Thus a new rela- tionship between urban-rural areas can indicate the ideology of ＂urban area feeding rural area＂.
