The blend locality between the Han and Yi nationality in south of Yunnan province include counties of Shiping, Jianshui, Mengzi, Gejiu, Kaiyuan, Mile ect. The paper here illustrates the specialties, flavor and the traditional food forms and characteristics in Yi and Han mixed residence; then it objectively analyzes the general situations of the diet and culture industry in these areas, and points out the problems existed in the process of construction and offers some reasonable and feasible suggestions for deeper development of the diet and culture in Yi and Han mixed areas.
