There are several mid-neolithic sites located at Jinan＇ s Suburb, such as Xiao Jingshan, Xihe, Yuezhuang and Zhangmatun etc. All these sites are belong to Houli culture period. We Collected all the faunal identification of those sites, and compared with each other. The result shows that in Houli culture period, there were in common at the faunal species composition and the meat consumption structure of ancient people.
