Many studies from epidemiology and toxicology have shown that atmospheric PM2.5can increase morbidity and mortality of cardiovascular disease. PM2.5is an important constituent part of haze, it is closely related to the respiratory system and cardiovascular system. This review included sources and composition of PM2.5, the epidemiology and toxicology research progress, and the possible mechanism about cardiovascular disease combined with the above content, presented the possible direction of PM2.5health impact studies on the cardiovascular system.
