碳纳米管(CNTs)易吸附环境中各种有毒金属离子,形成复合物,其生物效应和毒性有别于CNTs和金属离子单独作用及两重材料简单生物效应的叠加效果。阐述了金属离子在CNTs上吸附概况以及影响吸附的若干因素,分析了吸附作用对CNTs和金属离子环境毒理学的可能影响,指出了放射性核素示踪和同步辐射等核分析技术在相关研究中的重要作用。
With their increased production, application, and emissions to environment, adverse effects of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on environment and human health have attracted wide attention. However, much of the research effort has been focused on biological effects of CNTs alone. Due to their high adsorption ability, CNTs are easy to adsorb various toxic metal ions in environment and form CNT-metal ions complex. Biological effects of the complex differ from the individual effect of CNTs or ions, being far from a simple pile-up effect of CNTs and ions. In this paper, we give a review on metal ions adsorption on CNTs, the affecting factors, and environmental toxicology of CNT-metal ions complex. We also point out that radionuclide tracer techniques and synchrotron radiation techniques can play important roles in studies on interactions of metal ions with CNTs and the biological effects on environmental toxicology.
