利用HFR和LS-dependent(LS-D)的HFR自洽场方法,系统地计算了Xe原子的等核及等电子系列离子的4f电子径向波函数,讨论了4f波函数塌缩与谱相的强烈依赖关系.通过进一步计算4d10→4d9nf跃迁振子强度,说明实验上观察到的Ba2+光谱上强吸收线的出现是由于4f轨道的部分塌缩导致4d→nf1P跃迁产生的.对于高电离的Xe原子的等电子系列离子,4f轨道完全塌缩以后,跃迁振子强度主要集中在4f1P能级,使得吸收光谱上的唯一强吸收线是由于4d→4f1P跃迁产生的.
Self-consistent-field calculations of the 4f electron radial wave function for XeⅠ isonuclear and isoelectronic sequence ions have been made using HFR and LS-dependent HFR methods including correlation and relativistic effects.The collapse behaviors of the 4f wave functions have been studied systematically.The results show that the collapse of the 4f wave function is strongly term dependent.Furthermore,the oscillator strengths of the 4d10→4d9nf have been computed in Xe-like ions.It is found that the appearance of intense absorption lines in the observed Ba2+ spectrum is due to the partial collapse of the 4f orbital in the 4d→nf1P channel.It is show that after 4f orbital is completely collapsed for high degrees of ionization along the isolelectronic sequence,the bulk of absorption oscillator strengths is concentrated at the 4d94f1P level so that the only strong line in the spectrum is again the 4d→4f1P.
