Dengue virus envelope protein domain Ⅲ（DENV ED3） is the functional area of Dengue virus to combine with sensitive cell receptor.Researching the structure and function of DENV ED3 contributes to the understanding of the interaction of dengue virus with sensitive cells and the viral pathogenesis,which also helps lay foundation for investigating the dengue virus receptors and developing the specific blocking agent to control DENV infection.Here we reviewed the recent advancement in study of DENV ED3.
