以活性炭负载对甲苯磺酸为非均相催化剂,异丁醇为共沸带水剂,对苯甲酸与异丁醇之间的酯化反应进行了研究,重点考察了醇酸摩尔比、催化剂用量、反应时间对苯甲酸异丁酯收率的影响。实验结果表明,活性炭负载对甲苯磺酸有着良好的催化活性,当苯甲酸的加入量为0.1mol,醇酸摩尔比为3.0,催化剂用量为反应物总质量的4.0%,回流反应2.5h时,苯甲酸异丁酯收率可达90%以上,且催化剂重复使用5次仍保持较高活性。
The esterification of benzoic acid and isobutyl alcohol with active carbon supported p - toluene sulphonic acid as heterogeneous catalyst and the excess isobutyl alcohol as azeotropic water stripping agents was studied. The effects of different factors such as mole ratio of reactants, reaction time and catalyst dosage on the yield of isobutyl benzoate were carefully investigated. The experimental results showed that active carbon supported p - toluene sulphonic acid exhibited excellently catalytic activity. When the amount of benzoic acid is 0. 1 mol, mole ratio of isobutyl alcohol to benzoic acid is 3.0, the dosage of catalyst is 4. 0% of the total mass of the reactants, reaction time with reflux is 2.5 h, under this conditions, the yield of isobutyl benzoate higher than 90% can be achieved. The catalyst could be repeatedly used five times without significant declining of its catalytic activity.
