家谱具有重要的史料价值,能发挥积极的文化效应,为海内外华人寻根问祖提供依据,因此应加强对线装家谱、新修家谱和地方家谱的收藏工作。哈尔滨师范大学图书馆是黑龙江省收藏古籍家谱原件最多的单位,已建设古籍家谱书目数据库,延伸了大学图书馆的社会职能,为其他各馆建设书目数据库提供了借鉴。古籍家谱书目数据库建设应向着数据库、全文数据库方向发展,并以网络为媒介,建立全省乃至全国家谱联合数据库。

Genealogy has important historical value which could play positive cultural effects and provide evidence for overseas Chinese and people at home to seek their ancestors.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the collection work of the wire-bound,revised and local genealogy.Harbin Normal University Library is the institution which has collected most original genealogies in Heilongjiang Province,and its ancient genealogy bibliographic database not only extends social functions of university libraries,but also provides reference for other libraries.Ancient genealogy bibliographic database should develop towards abstract databases and full-text databases,and establish national united genealogy bibliographic database based on network.
