提出了一种改进的基于梯度的指纹方向场计算方法,主要做了2个方面的工作:深刻分析了归一化对指纹方向场计算结果的影响,提出了一种融合归一化前、后结果的方法;针对已有基于梯度的方向场计算方法存在准确性与抗噪声性矛盾、计算出的方向场结果不连续等缺点,提出了一种改进的计算方向场的窗口模版。实验验证了文中算法的有效性。
In this paper,an improved gradient based method for the computation of fingerprint orientation fields is proposed.Improved method mainly contains two works: fully analyzing the effects of normalization on the orientation results and proposing a approach for combining the orientation field results of 'before normalization' and 'after normalization' together;for overcoming the conflict between accuracy and noise-robustness,the discontinuity of the orientation results,proposing a new template for the computation of orientation field.Experiments prove the effectiveness of our method.
