The cultivation of graduate students＇ innovation ability facing the innovation chain isthe inevitable requirement of realizing the national innovation drive strategy, carrying out the construction of ＂Double First-rate＂ and ＂New Engineering Course＂, and promoting supply-side structural reform.This paper conducts a questionnaire surveyamong graduate students from several universities based on five dimensions： innovation knowledge, innovation thinking, innovation diathesis, innovation practice and market attention. Then this paper analyzes the current situation and shortcomings of graduate students＇ innovative ability, and puts forward ＂the cultivation model of graduate students＇ innovation ability facing the innovation chain＂, with countermeasures and suggestions for the cultivation of graduate students＇ innovation ability from five aspects.
