Up to now, there is no definite and easily used criteria for the diagnosis of alcoholic hepatitis （AH） worldwide. Moreover, severe AH is tile most severe form of alcoholic liver diseases, and as no specific and effective treatment strategies are available, the mortality is veD＇ high. Therefore, it is necessa to further discuss and understand the diagnostic criteria for AH. The authors analyze the domestic and foreign diagnostic criteria for AH, and put forward some revision suggestions on the diagnosis of AH, which are relatively definite and easily used.
