Aiming at the large gas emission amount in fully mechanized working face of Chengzhuang Coal Mine, with 1000m rig deep hole drilling technology and the complete set of equipment, the Gas drainage technology with super- long high directional drilling in goaf roof was tested; goaf ＂three zones＂ distribution scope and gas concentrated area were determined, the high directional borehole layout parameters were designed. Test results show that the technology was of low drilling construction quantities, favorable locating effect, stable drainage flow, and high extraction rate, achieving remarkable gas drainage effect.
