In marine or deicing agent environment,chloride penetration into concretes is the main cause of the reinforcement corrosion.The mechanism of the above problem was analyzed in this paper.Some durability assessments and service life prediction models for the concrete structure exposed to chloride environment were presented as well,especially the service life prediction models based on Fick's second law of diffusion.Finally,the service life of concrete structure exposed to chloride environment was analyzed according to an actual underground engineering.
