Science database about paleoenvironment in the area of east Asian is an important branch of national data sharing infrastructure of earth system science, focusing on solving the demand of national scientific research, education, decision-making about National Defense Economy and social development for paleoclimate, paleoenvironment and continental environment change observation. The database integrates, simulates, and excavates paleoenvironment data and reanalysis data. The paper gives a brief introduction about the database background, major function, data content, application and the future planning.
