本文提出一系列新型故障隔离型模块化多电平换流器(modular multilevel converter,MMC)子单元拓扑结构。与全桥型MMC拓扑结构相比,使MMC柔性直流输电具备直流侧故障处理能力的同时,优化了建设成本与运行损耗。本文详细描述了几种新型拓扑结构的直流侧故障电流阻断机理,介绍了一种基于故障隔离型子单元的新型换流站拓扑思路,并搭建了单相实验样机平台,实验进一步验证了该类拓扑结构的有效性。
This paper proposed a series of novel sub-module topology for modular multilevel converter( MMC).Compared with the full-bridge sub-module type MMC( F-MMC),MMC-HVDC using these sub-module will have DC side fault handling ability,and the construction cost and operation loss are optimized at the same time. This paper describes the DC fault current blocking mechanism of several new topologies in detail,and also introduces new mixed topology of bridge arm based on multi-type of sub-module. A platform of single-phase experimental prototype is set up to verify the effectiveness of this kind of topology structure.
