通过考察和分析经典数学著作范德瓦尔登的《近世代数学》和欧几里得的《原本》,对经典数学著作的传播情况进行研究.结果表明,经典数学著作均具有知识性、前瞻性、可读性、高度认可性和流行性的特征.由此得出结论,经典数学著作的传播具有重要的科学价值和社会价值,有利于人们掌握新数学知识,树立正确的数学观念,是实现人类数学创造性成果价值的必不可少的途径,是培养数学知识分子队伍的根本方式,亦为数学知识体的形成创造了良好的环境.
Through analyzing the Modern Algebra of B. L. Van der Waerden and Elements of Euclid, to study the spread of classical mathematical books. The results show that, classical mathematical books had the same characteristics, such as Knowledge, prospective, readability, highly recognized and epidemic. The conclusion was that the transmission of classical mathematical books had important scientific and social val- ue. It made people master the knowledge easily and set up correct conception of mathematics, which was the indispensable way to realize the value of human mathematical creative achievements, was the fundamental way to develop Mathematical intellectuals, and creat a good environment for the formation of the body of mathematical knowledge.
