This paper gives an introduction of a new powder metallurgy （PM） net shaping technology with short procedure and low costs warm flow compaction （WFC）. The features of the technology, the forming principle, the critical analysis and the application prospect of WFC are illustrated. And it is pointed out that WFC is a new net shaping technology and has a high competition ability in forming middling complicated parts such as undercuts,cross-holes and screws, so it has abroad application prospect.
