The development of online video websites is getting more and more rapid in recent years. With the increase of their revenue, the cost increases as well because the competition among the websites is so fierce that the price of video copyrights grows fast. The high copyright cost has imposed great pressure on all video websites. A theoretic model was built to investigate the process of video websites' copyright game, and game theory was used to help the websites find proper strategies. By bidding and selective video buying according to the strategies, video service providers could make better use of their budget to buy video copyrights, and maximize their own revenue. In addition, it is proved that cooperation strategies not only increase social welfare but also improve all cooperators 'profits, which implies that cooperation among video websites is a better choice.
