On the condition of electron-LO-phonon strong coupling, the eigenenergy and eigenfunction of the ground state of the electron in quantum ring are obtained by solving precisely the time-independent Schrodinger equation. Numerical calculations indicate that the ground state energy increases with increasing the inner radius (or decreasing outer radius) of the quantum ring, and it decreases with increasing the electron-LO-phonon coupling strength. The mean number of phonon increases with increasing the inner radius (or decreasing outer radius) of the quantum ring, and it increases with increasing the electron-LO-phonon coupling strength.
