提出一种基于新型多芯少模光纤模式干涉原理的位移传感器,该传感器由两段单模光纤和一段多芯少模光纤组成。研究了该传感器的实现原理,并实验验证。实验结果表明当光纤轴向被拉伸0~60μm时,该新型传感器的检测灵敏度为-61.17pm/μm,与理论计算结果之间的误差小于3.9%。因此,当使用高分辨率光谱仪作为接收器时,该传感器可检测17nm的位移变化。
A new type displacement sensor based on few-mode multi-core fiber is presented.The sensor consists of two segments of single mode fiber and a segment of few-mode multi-core fiber.The sensing principle of the sensor is investigated and the experiments are performed to verify its feasibility.The experimental results show that the sensitivity of this sensor is-61.17 pm/μm with the elongation from0 to 60μm,error between the experimental results and the theoretical calculation is less than 3.9%.So the minimum change of displacement detected is 17 nm by using an optical spectrum analyzer(OSA)with high resolution.
