GM（1,1） is the important and basic model of grey forecasting system. Five as- pects are summarized for the existing research of GM（1,1）. These are accumulation generating operation, optimized initial value,optimized background value, estimation method of parame-ter, model properties and extent of model. Moreover, the problems which remain for further studying and solving are proposed.
