新世纪以来专题研究汉语方言指示词的论文数量增长显著。内容主要涉及四个方面：方言点（片）指示词系统及其特点，特殊指示词的用法及其来源，指示词的虚化及与其它词类的语义关联，指示距离的分类。但目前单点方言指示词研究成果数量不平衡，详略不一，比较研究的力度不够，对语义功能及语义演变的描写较浅，类型学视野的研究也不多见。汉语方言指示词多功能性的类型学考察，是一个值得期待的课题。

英文摘要：

The papers on the study of demonstratives in Chinese dialects have increased significantly since the beginning of the century. The contents of the study mainly focus on four aspects ： the demonstrative system and its characteristics ; the usage and source of a special demonstrative ; the blurring of demonstratives and their relations to other word classes in meanings, and the classification of＂ the indication distance. However, the deficiency in the researches of single-point dialectal demonstratives still exists. For instance, the research is unbalanced in number, different in details, inadequate in comparison, superficial in the exploration of semantic function and semantic evolution and rare in typological studies. Typological studies on the versatility of demonstratives in Chinese dialects will be a worthy subject.
