In light of the rapidly aging population,community elderly care service is expected to not only meet the needs ofthe elderly,but also improve their quality of life.Based on survey data of Shanghai,the empirical analysis was conductedto examine the satisfaction level of government-purchased community elderly care service and its contributing factors.Theconclusions are as follows:respondents are generally satisfied with government-purchased community elderly care service;breakdown data shows service models enjoy the highest rating for satisfaction,followed by staff members and programs.Ma?jor indicators of satisfaction include demand factor,family factors and personal factors,such as age and level of education;minor indicators,such as marital status of economic and personal factors,only affects satisfaction on certain dimensions ofgovernment-purchased community elderly care service.
