Based on ecological footprint theory and statistics data of Lushui County in 2010,the ecological footprint and the output value footprint of the main agricultural products were calculated.Then,with the principle of maximizing ecological and economic benefit,the direction and specific method of optimizing the structure of agricultural products in Lushui county were proposed,thus providing a reference for further discussion on realizing sustainable development of agriculture and structural optimization of agricultural products in Lushui county.
